Join our team as a Water Industry Worker (Labourer)
Ready to roll up your sleeves and build a career in the water industry? Want to be part of a team that keeps essential services running for an entire community? Come and join the City Water team at Redland City Council.
You'll play a key role in delivering high-quality reactive and planned maintenance, non-routine construction, and property connection services across Redland City’s water and wastewater networks. From maintaining hydrants and mains to supporting critical infrastructure, your work will make a real difference every day - all while operating safely and efficiently.
Want to be part of something bigger? You’ll be contributing to services at scale - supporting a network that delivers over 14 billion litres of safe drinking water to more than 65,000 properties and treats over 14 billion litres of wastewater each year. Using your practical skills, you’ll help deliver essential works, support efficient resource use, respond to customer needs, and ensure jobs are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
This is a hands-on, field-based role with real opportunity - grow your skills, gain industry qualifications, and progress your career as you build experience and technical capability.
