The Team
Our Brisbane Dispute Resolution team is recognised as one of the leading practices in Queensland, with a strong reputation for handling complex commercial litigation, regulatory investigations and enforcement and insolvency matters. The team combines technical excellence with a collaborative culture, working on high-profile matters for top-tier clients across banking and finance, regulators, corporate insolvency, and commercial disputes. You will join a supportive environment that prioritises professional development, knowledge sharing, and delivering exceptional client outcomes.
Your Role
We are currently recruiting for an exceptional Lawyer or Associate to join our Brisbane Dispute Resolution team, working closely with partners Melinda Smith and Michael Vickery. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced commercial litigator with demonstrated expertise in financial services, regulatory litigation or insolvency and reconstruction, or for those looking to build a specialisation in this dynamic and growing practice area.
Working directly with Partners Michael Vickery and Melinda Smith and their highly regarded team, you will provide strategic advice to a prestigious client base including regulators, major financial institutions, large corporates, and leading insolvency practitioners. Your work will primarily span financial services litigation, regulatory investigations and enforcement and insolvency matters. This role offers genuine exposure to sophisticated matters and the opportunity to develop deep expertise and market presence.
