We have a new opportunity for an ambitious Lawyer or Associate to join our Corporate & Commercial team in Brisbane working with Aston Joppich and Heather Beckingsale.

 About the role and team

• Join a large, diverse team united by shared values and a clear vision, working across a broad range of Corporate and Commercial matters including M&A, complex contract negotiations, corporate governance, private client estate planning and business structuring.

• Take on a key role supporting senior lawyers and partners on a mix of corporate transactions, commercial contracts, private client matters, and property-related work, while also developing your own file management responsibilities as your experience grows.

• Based in our centrally located Brisbane office, offering genuine collaboration, mentoring, regular feedback, and ongoing professional development and training to support your career progression.

About you

• You will be an admitted lawyer with 1–3 years’ experience, ideally gained in a reputable practice. If you have relevant pre-admission experience, we encourage you to apply.

• You will have strong contract drafting and review skills, excellent attention to detail, sound judgement, and the ability to confidently communicate with colleagues, clients, and external stakeholders.

• Experience in any of the following will be highly regarded: estate planning, estate administration, property transactions, commercial contracts, commercial or estate litigation, or general corporate matters.
