Your Role:

We're seeking experienced Leading Hand to join our dynamic teams, contributing to larger-scale civil developments and concrete retaining wall projects. As a hands-on member, you'll play a pivotal role in our construction endeavors.

Responsibilities:

● Coordinating a team and meeting daily/weekly posting targets
● Attend site daily pre-starts and co ordinate with site foreman on daily plans and future works
as to keep walls cut and pegged in front at all times
● perform and record team daily pre-starts / toolbox.
● Training staff, conducting team performance review and reporting to director
● Adhering to performance reviews
● Coordinate with team on-site workplace health and safety standards
● Operations of excavator/skid steer
● Ordering of posts and concrete in advance
● Taking quality assurance photos daily on IPAD/APP provided
● Follow site plans and engineering drawings provided
● Adding in wall measurements at the end of each day before leaving site
● double/ triple check over all work before leaving site ie pads , posts are to the strings , run
your eye over the posts - adjust and correct if necessary

About You:

We're seeking individuals with a background in construction leading hand and machine operation, coupled with a commitment to excellence. Essential qualifications include a valid driver’s license, white card, skid steer, excavation, and dogging tickets. A positive, solutions-focused attitude, strong teamwork skills, and effective communication are paramount.
