St Bernardine’s Catholic Primary School is a vibrant educational school located in Regents Park, just 22 km from Brisbane City, with an enrolment of approximately 730 students. The Learning Engagement Teacher works in partnership with classroom teachers to strengthen high-impact teaching and improve student learning outcomes across all curriculum areas, aligned with the Australian Curriculum and BCE's Learning and Teaching Framework.
This role focuses on building teacher capability through collaboration, coaching, and the use of evidence-based practices to ensure engaging, inclusive, and differentiated learning for all students.
Reporting to the Primary Learning Leader (PLL), the Learning Engagement Teacher will:
• Collaborate with teachers to plan, implement, and refine effective teaching practices
• Support the use of student data to inform teaching and respond to individual learning needs
• Co-plan, co-teach, and provide feedback to enhance classroom practice
• Promote differentiation and inclusive strategies to maximise student engagement and achievement
• Contribute to professional learning and team planning aligned with the school's improvement agenda
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based pedagogy and BCE priorities
