Lebanese Speaker Sought for Friendship & Connection in Aged Care

Job Description - Lebanese Speaker Sought for Friendship & Connection in Aged Care

A Familiar Voice, A Meaningful Connection

Could you brighten someone's day with a friendly chat and a listening ear?

An older person living in our dementia-specific cottage would benefit from the companionship of a Lebanese-speaking volunteer who can share conversation, cultural connection, and social engagement.

Through regular visits, you'll have the opportunity to build a meaningful relationship, share stories, and help create moments of comfort, familiarity, and joy.

What you'll do:

• Spend time chatting and providing companionship

• Share language, culture, and life experiences

• Encourage social connection and engagement

• Build a warm and trusting friendship

• One-hour visits, weekly • Monday to Friday • Either at 10:00am or between 1:00pm and 3:00pm • Visits take place in a dementia-specific cottage.

This is a wonderful opportunity to make a genuine difference in someone's life while sharing the comfort of language, culture, and human connection.
