Working on the plaintiff side, you’ll be supporting individuals achieve meaningful outcomes for clients during important moments in their lives.
The Role
In this Legal Assistant position, you will work closely with our Managing Lawyer and play a key role in the smooth day to day operation of the practice. Your responsibilities will include:
Provide high level legal and administrative support to the Managing Lawyer.
Draft and prepare legal correspondence, court documents, applications, and reports.
Manage files end to end, including opening, maintenance, reviews, and closure.
Coordinate diaries, court dates, appointments, and critical deadlines.
Liaise professionally with clients, barristers, courts, medical providers, and other stakeholders.
Act as a key point of contact for clients, delivering clear and empathetic communication.
Assist with preparation for mediations, hearings, and conferences.
Manage incoming and outgoing communications and general practice administration.
Support workflow efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentor and support junior staff members as required.
This is a hands on role with real responsibility, ideal for someone who enjoys being an integral part of a close knit team.
