Are you a qualified and experienced Veterinary Nurse looking for casual shifts across Toowoomba/Gatton?

We are currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified and experienced Vet Nurses seeking casual hours to suit their lifestyle, study or family needs.

As part of the VetPartners Locum Vet Nurse network, this true casual role will receive notification of shifts available across:

• Toowoomba Veterinary Hospital

• Gatton Veterinary Surgery

• Herriot House Veterinary Surgery

• Pittsworth Veterinary Surgery

You can choose shifts based on your availability and preferred location across these practices.

How Do I Become A Locum Vet Nurse

• Demonstrate your experience in Surgical and Hospital Care

• Possess excellent Customer Care, Triage and Reception skills

• Have experience using EzyVet – or are a quick systems learner

• Happy to accept shifts from 3hrs to 10hrs, at short notice or in advance

• Available on Weekdays and/or Saturdays

This opportunity will be paid above award rates, based on experience.

Our Ideal Candidates

• Must hold Cert IV Veterinary Nurse or Veterinary Technician qualification

• Confident nursing skills with high standards of clinical care

• Excellent communicator with great initiative

• Genuine care for the industry and our patients

• A collaborative, team-focused work ethic

We acknowledge that some applicants may have another primary workplace and only wish to pick up shifts when available.

To be considered you must hold Australian work rights, with a minimum of two years in-clinic experience post-graduation. We also require applicants to supply two industry references to become part of our Locum Vet Nurse network.
