Job Description - Machine Operator - Immediate START

Our client, a leader in designing and manufacturing top quality food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical packaging tubes, is seeking an Experienced Plastic Extruder / Machine Operator to join their dynamic team.

About the Role:

As an Experienced Plastic Extruder / Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in the production process. This position involves a variety of tasks that ensure the highest quality standards are met consistently.

This position is ongoing temp, leading to a permanent role with an immediate start available

You will be required to work on DAY SHIFT, working 12 hour days / 4 days per week

Monday to Thursday from 7am to 7pm

PLEASE NOTE: Training for this role will need to be completed on the afternoon or night shift

Requirements

Duties and Responsibilities:

Your job duties & responsibility include but are not limited to the following:

Operate a plastic extruder machine

Loading raw materials into machines

Perform quality testing to ensure products meet required standards

Execute daily production plans

Label products accurately

Change machine parts for job changeovers

Undertake other manufacturing duties as required

To be considered for this position, you will have:

Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment (plastic manufacturing preferred)

Packaging and printing experience (bonus)

Familiarity with the FMCG environment

Strong mechanical aptitude

Able to meet deadlines and KPI's

Team player mentality with the ability to follow clear instructions

Willingness to learn and positive attitude

Excellent communication skills

Full working rights in Australia with no limitations on hours per week
