About the role
As a Management Accountant within Finance Business Advisory & Partnering, you will provide high-quality management accounting and financial analysis support that enables informed decision-making and helps ensure resources are used effectively to deliver better outcomes for schools across NSW. Working collaboratively with business leaders and finance colleagues, you will deliver budgeting, forecasting, reporting and financial analysis while building strong working relationships across the organisation. Your insights will help stakeholders understand financial performance, make informed decisions and ensure public resources are effectively allocated to support the Department’s priorities.
You’ll be a part of a collaborative Finance Business Advisory & Partnering team where you’ll work alongside experienced colleagues and continue developing your analytical and business partnering skills.

About you
You are a proactive finance professional who combines strong technical accounting and analytical skills with a collaborative and customer-focused approach. You enjoy working with stakeholders at all levels, understanding business needs and translating complex financial information into practical advice, meaningful insights and recommendations.
