IB&M Finance partners with Institutional Banking & Markets to provide robust financial control, analysis and strategic insight. Product Control sits at the centre of Global Markets, working closely with Trading, Risk and Finance to deliver accurate P&L reporting and maintain a strong control environment.
 

Your impact

You will lead Product Control across Fixed Income, Rates & FX trading desks, overseeing daily P&L, ensuring reporting accuracy and strengthening controls.

• Provide clarity on P&L drivers, market movements and risk positions
• Maintain a strong control framework across reporting, systems and processes
• Partner with Front Office, Risk and Technology to support business initiatives
• Drive automation, efficiency and reporting enhancements
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team
• Influence senior stakeholders through clear financial insights
   

We’re interested in hearing from people who have

• Experience in Product Control or Financial Control across traded financial products (Fixed Income, Rates and FX)
• Strong accounting foundation with a sound understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting frameworks
• Working knowledge of trading platforms such as Murex and Wallstreet
• Strong analytical capability, with experience in tools such as SQL, VBA, Power BI, Tableau Prep or Alteryx
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence stakeholders
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Professional accounting qualification (CPA, CA, CFA or similar)
