About the Role 

Support and lead our King of the Hills Project to safely deliver high quality, efficient production outcomes while working closely with operations, maintenance and HSEQT teams to drive standards and support your people

Role Details :

• Location: King of The Hills, Western Australia


• Roster: 5/2, 4/3 days only

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all Mining activities across the site, ensuring conformance to relevant Management Plans


• Provide accurately, timely and clear communication to the Company’s Executive Leadership Team on project performance


• Monitor compliance to ensure that the Project production, maintenance, financial and safety targets are achieved ensuring any non-compliances are rectified as soon as possible


• Lead the cooperation and coordination of the Client and the Company senior management at site ensuring information, knowledge sharing and up-to -date technical data is accurately communicated between parties and in a timely manner to facilitate achievement of the Project targets


• Monitor and ensure compliance of HSEQT management plans, policies and procedures, internal and legislative, ensuring all non-compliances are rectified as soon as practicable and adequate controls are put in place


• Manage our people in line with approved budget and ensure that the Project resourcing is compliant with the contract, engaging with other Company leaders and Recruitment as required 

What You’ll Bring 

• Over 10 years’ experience in open pit mining operations including Load and Haul, Drill and Blast, Ground Control and Water Management in a contract mining environment


• Strong understanding of mining industry HSEQ standards, rules and procedures with previous experience ensuring Mining Statutory Compliance with WorkSafe and Work Health and Safety Mine Regulations


• Previous experience managing and coordinating large scale multi-functional teams


• Previous experience managing, leading and promoting a safe, productive and cost effective workforce


• Current Australian C Class Driver’s License


• Current Senior First Aid Certificate


• Professional interpersonal and communication skills
