Manager - Product and Services Risk

As a Manager, Product and Services Risk, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Product and Services teams through independent Line 2 risk oversight, guidance and challenge. You'll work closely with leaders across the business to ensure risk is considered proactively, balanced appropriately and managed in line with our Risk Management Framework.

You'll be a trusted adviser, influencing decision-making at senior levels while helping maintain strong governance, operational resilience and regulatory compliance. This role offers the opportunity to shape risk culture, drive capability uplift initiatives and contribute to key strategic and transformational programs.

You'll also lead an engaged team of risk professionals, creating an inclusive environment where people can develop their technical expertise, judgement and confidence.

This role is a permanent opportunity based in either Brisbane, Sydney, or Melbourne.

Day to day, you'll:

• Provide expert Line 2 risk oversight, advice and challenge across Product and Services.
• Review and challenge Line 1 risk assessments, controls and mitigation strategies.
• Advise leaders and executives on risk implications while supporting strategic objectives.
• Support effective risk governance through reporting, monitoring and participation in governance forums.
• Deliver targeted assurance activities to assess the effectiveness of risk management practices and controls.
• Partner with first and third line functions to ensure alignment with enterprise risk frameworks and regulatory expectations.
• Drive a strong and positive risk culture across the business area.
• Lead, coach and develop team members to build capability and performance.
• Support risk management activities across strategic initiatives, change programs and business priorities.

• You have extensive experience in enterprise, operational or compliance risk management within a complex environment.
• Your expertise includes risk management frameworks, methodologies and control environments.
• You'll bring experience supporting large-scale transformation, strategic initiatives or business change programs.
• You're confident providing independent challenge and influencing senior stakeholders on risk matters.
• You have strong knowledge of APRA prudential standards, compliance frameworks and assurance processes.
• Your experience includes risk reporting, governance forums and risk monitoring activities.
• You'll be comfortable working in fast-paced environments with competing priorities and ambiguity.
• You're experienced in developing risk controls, assessments and mitigation strategies.
• You bring proven leadership experience, including coaching and developing high-performing teams.
