Using your knowledge of technology and engineering principles you will oversee the planning, development, and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations. You\u0027ll tackle technical, quality, and production challenges. Your expertise optimizing manufacturing costs and standards helps shape Lam\u0027s commitment to innovation and efficiency in manufacturing.\n\nIn this role, you will directly contribute to resolve day-to-day assembly process issues.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do\n\n * * As Shift ME to troubleshoot new or existing product problems, involving designs, materials, or processes.\n * Perform root cause investigation and recommend corrective action for operational problems, such as material use variances, bottlenecks, fixture issues during build or manufacturing process.\n * Identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes or resolve problems and follow through resolution to reduce costs, improve product quality, and cycle time. \n * Provide the MRB disposition for the defective/failure parts.\n * Designs, develops, and implements safe and cost-effective complex equipment and methods of assembly for all phases of manufacturing.\n\n * Define process and methods for high volume manufacturing which includes operations method sheet, routing, and sequencing.\n * Reviews and develops designs that improve product manufacturability and assembly.\n\n\n\n## Who we\u2019re looking for\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of experience; or advanced degree with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience.\n * Able to work in shift working pattern.\n * Skilled troubleshooting capabilities in the areas of electro/mechanical assemblies.\n * Solid understanding of manufacturing processes.\n * Proficient in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) with approach to structured problem-solving and decision-making.\n * Proficient in software applications such as CAD modeling, Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), or Product Data Modeling (PDM) systems.\n * Experience in Engineering Change Management Process.\n * Working knowledge in Operation Method Sheets (OMS), process planning, and Bill of Materials (BOM) Management.\n * This is a graduate eligible role.\n\n\n\n## Preferred qualifications\n\n * Knowledge of Semiconductor equipment (high vacuum equipment knowledge), Capital Equipment industry and its manufacturing processes.\n * Effective communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in English.\n * Statistical analysis skills including statistical process control and data analysis used in production setting.\n * Knowledge in Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA).\n * Proven stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders or customers in technical matters.\n * structured problem-solving and decision-making.\n * Proficient in software applications such as CAD modeling, or SAP.\n * Experience in Engineering Change Management Process.\n * Working knowledge in Operation Method Sheets (OMS), process planning, and Bill of Materials (BOM) Management.\n\n\n\n## Our commitment\n\n \n\nWe believe it is important for every person to feel valued, included, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
