Marina Boat Handler / Recreational Skippers Ticket

If you love boating as much as we do, this is the job for you! You'll get to drive recreational boats in our marina based in the heart of Freo.

WA's leading dry stacking and marina facility is looking for a Perth-based and reliable recreational boat skipper. Successful full time applicants will be trained on the forklift operations.

This position will give the successful applicant the opportunity to be part of a supportive and progressive team working in a great location on the water. Full time role is based on a 5 day working week that includes weekends (3x weekdays, Saturday & Sunday). 

We are looking for someone passionate about working in the marine industry, who is self motivated, reliable and works well in a team environment.

Must hold a Recreational Skippers Ticket and be Perth-based. Current forklift ticket an advantage. Ongoing training and development will be provided.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Skippering recreational vessels within our marina.
• Launching and retrieving recreational vessels.
• General machine maintenance.
• General yard duties.
• Operating a marine forklift (training will be provided)
• Regular weekend shifts.
• Must be safety conscious and display initiative

Skills and experience

• Marine and recreational vessel knowledge desirable.
• Recreational Skippers Ticket required.
• Forklift ticket an advantage.
• Drivers license required - manual preferred .
