Medical Receptionist

We have an exciting opportunity for you to be a part of our team in beautiful Burnie. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with a “can-do” attitude?

Our clinic in Burnie (Northwest Regional Hospital) is currently seeking an experienced Medical Receptionist to join the team. This role is a Full –Time Fixed Term Position (12 Months) working Monday – Friday between the core hours of 7:30am – 8:00pm

Reporting to the Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing high level reception duties and administrative services whilst ensuring the delivery of professional, caring and friendly services to patients, referrers and other customers.

Role Overview:  

• As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients. Your responsibilities will include:  


• Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures ensuring that a patients first experience of I-MED is one they will positively remember.


• Answering phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.


• Ensuring smooth clinic operations during our business hours.
