The Role

Reporting to the Site Manager, we are seeking a qualified and experienced MPU Operator. The MPU Operator will be responsible for the delivery of emulsion based explosives in alignment with the services supplied on site. And with a strong commitment to upskilling and progressing your career throughout the company, you'll be on the fast track to success. ⛏️

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced MPU Operator to work at our Telfer site.  This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise you're mining skills and knowledge for one of our key customers.  In addition, the MPU Operator will also be responsible for:

• Safe and efficient machinery operation of a MPU for the purpose of manufacturing explosives.


• Delivery of emulsion-based explosives in alignment with the contracted services supplied on site


• Basic maintenance on all on site equipment.


• Completion of all required paperwork.

What you will bring

It is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate operational experience as a qualified MPU Operator or demonstrated equipment operation experience on an active blast bench as well as the following:

• You must be committed to positively contributing to our safe, inclusive and high-performance culture


• HR Licence


• Dangerous Goods Security Card


• Dangerous Goods Drivers Licence


• Forklift (HRWL) Licence (desirable)


• Excellent communication skills, supportive team member with a positive proactive attitude


• Good computer literacy, and aptitude to learn and use site specific software
