We're looking for two talented MuleSoft Developers to design, develop, and continuously improve our integration platforms and APIs. The roles combine strong hands-on technical expertise with the ability to translate business requirements into technical concepts, ultimately resulting in great outcomes drive best practices development, and mentor a high-performing team. 




You'll play a key role in creating scalable, secure, and reliable integration solutions that support critical business outcomes, while collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver innovative and impactful technology solutions. What You’ll Do 






  • Design, develop and deploy scalable, secure and reusable MuleSoft integrations to external broker platforms and other business-critical systems supporting IAG’s intermediated brands.  








  • Champion CI/CD best practices and DevOps methodologies to enable efficient, reliable and seamless deployments.  








  • Partner with the MuleSoft Technical Lead to drive technical excellence, collaboration and high performance across delivery teams.  








  • Leverage emerging technologies, including AI capabilities within the MuleSoft platform and tools such as GitHub Copilot, to improve delivery outcomes and productivity.  








  • Provide accurate effort estimates across varying levels of solution maturity, within agreed delivery tolerances.  








  • Contribute to the development of processes, standards and practices that support high-quality, maintainable and secure integration solutions.  








  • Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers and ensure adherence to architectural and development standards.  








  • Build strong relationships with vendors, external partners and stakeholders, bringing a deep understanding of end-to-end technology solutions, including system upgrades, integrations, deployments and large-scale transformation programmes. 
     






There are two permanent roles and offer a flexible hybrid work model. 
 




What You’ll Bring 






  • 5+ years' experience as a Senior Developer specialising in MuleSoft development within complex enterprise environments.  








  • Strong hands-on experience designing, developing and supporting integration solutions using MuleSoft, Java and API-led architecture.  








  • Proven expertise with RESTful APIs, synchronous and asynchronous integration patterns, messaging platforms and event-driven technologies including Anypoint MQ and Kafka.  








  • Experience implementing modern security frameworks and standards, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.  








  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices, with experience using tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins or Bamboo, alongside observability platforms including New Relic and Splunk.  








  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence, with the ability to accurately estimate and deliver work.  








  • Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
