Location: Brisbane

Salary: $100k - $120k + Super + Car + Bonus

Territory: Queensland-wide, including Brisbane, Southeast Queensland and regional Queensland

Role Overview

Reporting to a senior sales leader, you will be responsible for driving strategic growth across Queensland's Manufacturing sector. On a daily basis, you will engage with key customers, identify opportunities to increase share of wallet and collaborate with established sales teams to develop tailored industrial solutions. You will manage strategic account plans, build relationships with senior decision-makers and develop a strong pipeline of commercial opportunities.

This newly created role offers the opportunity to become Queensland's dedicated Manufacturing specialist within an expanding national sales structure. Leveraging an established customer network and extensive industrial product portfolio, you will play a key role in unlocking untapped market potential and delivering sustainable revenue growth.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic account growth and market penetration across Queensland's Manufacturing sector


• Develop and execute tailored account strategies to increase revenue, customer retention and share of wallet


• Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across engineering, maintenance, procurement and operations


• Partner with established local sales teams to identify and convert commercial opportunities within existing customer accounts


• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities


• Collaborate with technical specialists, engineering and operations teams to deliver tailored customer solutions


• Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of strategic projects and commercial opportunities


• Negotiate commercial agreements, manage contract renewals and strengthen long-term customer partnerships


• Monitor account performance, sales forecasts and market trends to identify growth opportunities

Candidate Profile

• 3+ years of B2B account management experience selling technical products or solutions into manufacturing clients


• Proven track record of growing existing accounts, driving revenue and increasing share of wallet


• Strong ability to engage decision-makers across engineering, maintenance, procurement and operations


• Commercially astute, with strong negotiation, relationship management and business development skills


• Proactive, collaborative and self-motivated, with the ability to manage a Queensland-wide territory autonomously
