About the role

Reporting to the Front Office Manager and Assistant Night Manager, you will be responsible for:

• In absence of the Assistant Night Manager - the management, security, and operational efficiency of the hotel (Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Front Office) ensuring optimum guest and associate satisfaction during the night


• Ensure the Night Audit function is performed with relation to roll of day, revenue capture and reporting, in line with relevant SOPs


• In absence of the Assistant Night Manager - oversee the safety and security of all guests, associates and assets


• Anticipate and resolve problems which impact on guest service


• With the Assistant Night Manager - facilitate and monitor the implementation of The Langham Sydney WHS Management System and associated policies procedures, guidelines and programs


• Perform tasks including – newspaper delivery, preparation and delivery of room service orders, assist guests with luggage and valet parking

Skill and Experiences

• Previous experience in a similar role within luxury will be highly regarded


• Ability to demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service


• Possess a high standard of grooming and personal presentation


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Full working rights. 


• RSA & First Aid Certificate


• Hold a current open manual driver's license
