Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team in Brisbane, Australia. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping individuals overcome physical, cognitive, and psychosocial challenges, enabling them to lead more independent and fulfilling lives.

• Assess and evaluate clients' functional abilities, limitations, and needs
• Develop and implement individualised treatment plans and interventions
• Provide guidance and training on the use of adaptive equipment and assistive technologies
• Collaborate with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation
• Promote client independence, well-being, and quality of life
• Stay current with the latest occupational therapy practices, techniques, and research
• Adhere to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and local healthcare regulations

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
• Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
• Relevant experience as an Occupational Therapist, preferably in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative abilities
• Proficiency in using relevant software and equipment
• Knowledge of occupational therapy principles, techniques, and interventions
• Understanding of various physical, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions and disabilities
• Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
