Oracle EPM Technical Lead

We’re looking for an experienced Oracle EPM Technical Lead to join our Finance Systems team and take technical ownership of our Oracle EPM PBCS Platform.

Following the successful implementation of Oracle EPM, we’re moving into the next phase – bringing more capability in-house and focusing on continuous improvement, enhancements and ongoing support.

This is a newly created Permanent Full-Time position based in Sydney, reporting to the Finance Systems Leader. 

About the role

As our Oracle EPM technical SME, you’ll take ownership of our PBCS platforms, ensuring it remains reliable, scalable and aligned with the needs of Finance.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Technical ownership and administration of Oracle PBCS.


• Developing and maintaining business rules, calculations, forms, dashboards and workflows


• Managing system enhancements, integrations and technical troubleshooting


• Supporting Oracle Cloud releases and ongoing platform performance


• Identifying opportunities for automation and continuous improvement


• Building internal capability through documentation, knowledge sharing and training


• Partnering with Finance, Technology and external service providers

About you

We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on Oracle EPM expertise who enjoys solving complex problems and improving how systems work.

You’ll bring:

• 5+ years’ Oracle EPM experience


• Oracle PBCS certification


• Strong experience across PBCS and FCCS


• Knowledge of Narrative Reporting and IPM configuration


• Experience with business rules, calculations, forms, metadata and data integrations


• Strong technical troubleshooting and stakeholder engagement skills

Experience with Groovy scripting, EPM Automate, REST APIs and automation would be highly regarded.

A Finance background would be beneficial, but CA or CPA qualifications aren’t required – strong Oracle EPM technical capability is what matters most.
