About the Role

We’re offering a permanent opportunity in Avondale Heights. You’ll play a key role in supporting children before and after school through fun, engaging, and enriching experiences.

Permanent Part-Time $28–$37/hr + Super + Allowances 

Hours of Work

 Morning Care: 7:15 am – 9:15 am

 Afternoon Care: 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Split shifts provide flexibility and balance — ideal for those juggling study, family commitments, or other interests.

Your Role as an Educator

 Create Safe and Inspiring Spaces

Design environments where children feel secure, supported, and motivated to explore and learn.

 Plan Engaging Experiences

Lead hands-on, fun, and creative activities that spark curiosity, imagination, and a love of learning.

 Build Strong Connections

Develop positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering a welcoming, community-focused environment.

 Champion Wellbeing and Growth

Support each child’s social, emotional, and developmental needs while promoting overall wellbeing.

Work closely with your team to co-create programs that reflect children’s interests, ideas, and voices.

What You’ll Bring

• A genuine passion for working with children

• A warm, collaborative approach with strong communication skills

• Cert III (or higher) in an ACECQA recognised qualification (or currently studying)

• Valid First Aid, CPR, WWCC, and Australian work rights (or able to obtain these)
