Civmec is seeking experienced Painter Blasters for ongoing works on the BHP Bucketwheel Reclaimer Upgrade Project. 

The Role

• 
  
  Prepare steel surfaces through abrasive blasting to required industry standards prior to coating application.
  
  


• 
  
  Apply protective coatings and paint systems safely and efficiently to achieve quality workmanship.
  
  


• 
  
  Inspect completed work, undertake touch-ups and ensure coatings meet project and client specifications.
  
  


• 
  
  Maintain equipment, follow safety procedures and support the long-term protection and integrity of assets.
  
  

About You

• Trade Certificate 


• Minimum 3 years’ industrial experience as a Painter Blaster


• Previous construction experience within the mining and resources sector 


• Work Safely at Heights Certificate 


• Current Enter and Work in Confined Space Certificate
