This global business that operates in a niche sector is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their team. This full-time permanent position will be based in their Eagle Farm offices, which offers plenty of on-site parking, and they also offer 1 WFH day per week once settled into the role.
Your new role
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

Take full ownership of the AU payroll function for the

Employee file maintenance

End to end weekly and monthly payroll processing

Processing deductions and leave

Interpret all awards and employment agreements

Completing all month-end and year-end reconciliations

Completing payroll reporting and audits

STP lodgement, superannuation payments, Workcover and payroll tax

Process improvement where needed

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:

Extensive payroll experience where you have worked in an end-to-end position

Strong general knowledge of payroll requirements and legislation

Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work across several awards and employment agreements

Highly organised with strong attention to detail
