Position Title: Personal Care Assistant (PCA) / Support Worker

Role Purpose:

To provide person -centred care and support to clients, assisting them with daily living activities and helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Support clients with mobility and transfers.
Assist with meal preparation and feeding where required.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with medication reminders as directed.
Support clients with community access, appointments, and social activities.
Maintain accurate records and report any concerns regarding client wellbeing.
Follow individual care plans, workplace policies, and health and safety procedures.

Essential Requirements:

Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or equivalent.
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
National Police Check.
NDIS Worker Screening Check (if required).
Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (preferred).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Domestic Assistant – Basic Job Description

Position Title: Domestic Assistant

Role Purpose:

To provide household assistance and domestic support services that help clients maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

General household cleaning, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and bathroom cleaning.
Laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding clothes.
Changing bed linens and making beds.
Assisting with grocery shopping and household errands.
Meal preparation and basic kitchen duties.
Maintaining a safe and hygienic home environment.
Reporting any concerns regarding the client's wellbeing or home safety.
Following workplace policies and client service standards.

Essential Requirements:

Previous cleaning or domestic assistance experience preferred.

Ability to work independently and maintain client confidentiality.
