Job Description - Physiotherapist




Physiotherapist required for a 140 bed aged care facility in Cabramatta.  







Role Description







  • Deliver 1:1 treatment session to improve physical independence and pain management

  • Conduct Initial Assessment

  • Develop appropriate care plans

  • Pain Assessment in accordance with ACFI

  • Resident's post falls assessment

  • Conducting Facility Equipment assessment and Risk assessment

  • Provide Manual Handling Training to the Staff

  • Facilitate Falls prevention workshop

  • Conduct Exercise Classes for Residents


Requirements



You are required to be passionate about working with the elderly to provide better quality of living and pain management with exceptional customer care and evidence-based practices. It is important to understand the genuine care and support required to work with the aged population 







  • Hold current registration (Full / Limited) as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Work Independently

  • Full working rights in Australia

  • Current Police Certificate

  • Passionate about Aged Care

  • Graduates welcome to apply
