Physiotherapist Grade 2 – Acute Medical and General Surgery
About the role
As a Grade 2 Physiotherapist, you will join a supportive and collaborative physiotherapy team at the scenic Angliss Hospital, working alongside experienced multidisciplinary clinicians.
In this diverse acute care role, you will apply your physiotherapy expertise across medical and general surgery wards, with opportunities to expand your practice into the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit, and Acute Care of Older Persons Ward, depending on your clinical capabilities and scope of practice. You will be supported through regular clinical supervision from experienced Grade 3 Physiotherapists, as well as mentorship from Grade 4 Clinical Leads in Aged and Complex Care and/or Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy to foster your professional growth and development.
The role also offers opportunities to supervise students and Allied Health Assistants, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and play an active role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care across a dynamic acute health service.

To be successful in this role you will possess:
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
