Piece together great company—and level up someone’s day!


Enjoy spending time with others, sharing a chat, and diving into a good puzzle or story? This could be the perfect fit for you! 


A lovely lady is looking for someone to visit once a week for an hour of relaxed, enjoyable company. She loves puzzles, sci‑fi books, and playing games on her iPad —and would enjoy sharing these interests with you.


Whether you’re helping complete a puzzle, exploring imaginative worlds through conversation, or trying out a new game together, your time will truly brighten her week.


If you enjoy curiosity, connection, and making a meaningful difference, this might just be the most rewarding (and enjoyable) hour of your week.




















Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.






 

HammondCare 

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare. 

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements



18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare •







We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for an hour visit between 9am and 5pm Monday to Sunday, visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
