As Portfolio Operations Manager, you’ll lead operational excellence across multiple properties, empowering hotel managers and teams to deliver outstanding guest experiences while driving commercial performance, consistency, and brand standards. From remote lodges to unique accommodation experiences, no two days will be the same.

You'll oversee hotel performance, manage our hotel managers, support the integration of new properties and acquisitions, and work closely with teams across finance, people, marketing, and sustainability to ensure every property thrives. As Stay Intrepid continues to expand as part of Intrepid’s ambitious 2030 growth strategy, you’ll be at the forefront of onboarding new hotels, embedding culture, and creating seamless transitions that set teams up for long-term success.

This is a full time, permanent position, ideally based out of our HQ in Melbourne but potentially open to anywhere in Australia, paying between $120-130k DOE, plus bonus and some fantastic travel benefits! You will need to be willing to travel frequently to our properties all over Australia.
We would love to hear from you if you have:
Have 3+ years proven experience in hotel management with strong leadership and people management skills
Passionate about hospitality and the communities in which we operate
Demonstrated competence managing guest experience and operational performance in hotels
Strong systems, business analytics and financial management skills
Good understanding of non-operational department requirements, such as reservations, revenue, marketing, PR and finance
