Role Purpose

We are looking to appoint a new Principal Project Planner within our Project Services team based in Perth or Brisbane. Our new Principal Project Planner will provide advanced planning and scheduling expertise across numerous complex projects and portfolios. The role is responsible for developing, integrating, maintaining and analysing project schedules to support successful project delivery. 

Acting as a subject matter expert, our Principal Project Planner will coordinate planning activities across multiple disciplines, provides technical leadership to planning teams, supports client engagement, and ensures the integrity and accuracy of project schedules throughout the project lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Verification of subcontractor progress and input of progress to the Project Master Schedule
  • Updating of schedule progress following Worley and Client governance
  • Analysis of resource requirements and forecasting 
  • Project Reporting - Earned Value Management, S-Curves, Resource Histograms
  • Baseline maintenance and change management
  • Manage the interface between the cost system and Primavera
  • Internal and external stakeholder engagement
  • Earned Value / Progress trending and forecasting
  • Chair / Support Interactive Planning Sessions

About you:

  • Significant experience as Senior, Lead or Principal Project Planner.
  • Strong knowledge of systems including Netpoint and Acumen Fuse.
  • An ability to develop strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting large, complex, multidisciplinary projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of project controls principles, planning methodologies and schedule management.
  • Experience leading planning activities across multiple projects or major project scopes.
