The Role:

Due to continued growth, my client is seeking an Intermediate Production Estimator to join their experienced estimating team. Working alongside the Estimating Manager and Sales Estimators, you will play a key role in delivering accurate production estimates across a variety of residential projects, with an initial focus on an upcoming medium density townhouse development in Cowra. This role offers a mix of repetitive production estimating work alongside exposure to larger-scale residential projects, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to further develop their estimating career.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparing accurate production estimates for residential homes and medium density townhouse developments


• Producing Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and construction orders


• Reviewing plans, specifications and engineering documentation


• Pricing residential and townhouse projects using Databuild


• Liaising with suppliers to obtain quotations and confirm pricing


• Maintaining accurate estimating databases and price files


• Working closely with the Estimating Manager and broader estimating team


• Ensuring estimates are completed accurately and within required timeframes


• Assisting with continuous improvements to estimating systems and processes

About You:

You will be an experienced Production Estimator looking to join a collaborative team where you'll continue to develop your skills while contributing to exciting residential projects.

To be successful, you will possess:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Production Estimator within residential home building


• Experience using Databuild estimating software


• Ability to interpret residential building plans and specifications


• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical ability


• Excellent organisational and time management skills


• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively


• Medium density estimating experience will be highly regarded but is not essential


• A positive attitude and genuine desire to contribute to a high-performing team
