Program Scheduling Officer

Your Role as Program Scheduling Officer with WMQ’s Allied Health Team

As a Program Scheduling Officer, you will efficiently manage referrals for our Allied Health services by assessing, triaging and scheduling support, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to meet our customer’s needs.

In this role you will:

• Determine customer eligibility for funded health & wellbeing services and provide the customer appropriate assistance and/or advice to access these services.

• Maintain a referral prioritisation list based on customer clinical need.

• Participate in administration duties including fee contribution management and assisting with reception duties.

• Identify opportunities with service delivery team members to provide cross disciplinary services which may be of benefit to the customer.

• Drive a customer centric culture that maintains their needs at the heart of all activities.

• Communicate effectively with staff, customers, various stakeholders and the Practice Manager.

What We’re Looking For

• Skills and knowledge of MDT/ H&W health services, including funded and fee for-service options available to customers.

• Highly effective customer service, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Ability to coordinate services with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

A Valuable Addition, Yet Not a Must-Have!

• Business related qualification and relevant experience, or significant relevant work experience.

Essential Requirements

• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)

• Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.

• Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work
