Property Lawyer - 3+ years PQE

The Role

Due to continued growth, the firm is looking to appoint a Commercial Property Lawyer with 3+ years’ PAE to join its Melbourne property team.

This is a broad transactional property role offering exposure to matters including:

• Commercial property acquisitions and disposals;
  


• Property development transactions;
  


• Commercial, industrial and retail leasing;
  


• Drafting and negotiating contracts of sale and related property agreements;
  


• Due diligence and advice regarding property transactions;
  


• Subdivisions and development documentation;
  


• Options, development agreements and other commercial property arrangements;
  


• Property finance and security matters; and
  


• Advising developers, investors and commercial clients throughout the lifecycle of property transactions.
  

You will have the opportunity to take meaningful carriage of matters while working closely with experienced senior lawyers and partners on larger and more complex transactions.

About You

You will ideally have:

• At least 3 years’ post-admission experience in property law;
  


• Solid experience across commercial property transactions;
  


• Strong drafting, negotiation and communication skills;
  


• The ability to manage matters with an appropriate level of autonomy;
  


• Good commercial judgement and a practical approach to client advice; and
  


• An interest in continuing to build your career within commercial property.
  

Experience across development and/or commercial leasing would be particularly well regarded.
