Job Description - Property Manager


Property Manager | Commercial Government Portfolio | Sydney CBD


 


About the Role


We are seeking an experienced and proactive Property Manager to take ownership of a defined portfolio within a broader asset management environment. This diverse portfolio spans retail, commercial, industrial, and vacant land assets, offering variety and the opportunity to make a real impact.


 


You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of your portfolio, working closely with clients, tenants, and contractors to deliver strong commercial outcomes and a high standard of service.


 


Key responsibilities include:



  • Managing day-to-day operations across a mixed property portfolio

  • Overseeing lease administration, occupancy, and tenant matters

  • Building and maintaining strong client, tenant, and contractor relationships

  • Preparing and delivering accurate financial reporting and performance analysis

  • Contributing to annual budgets and monthly reporting cycles

  • Monitoring portfolio performance against targets and identifying opportunities for improvement

  • Proactively managing risks and escalating issues where required

  • Driving best-practice processes and continuous improvement initiatives

  • You’ll be supported by a collaborative wider team across facilities management, finance, inspections, and lease administration, allowing you to focus on delivering results.


 


About You


You are a motivated and commercially focused Property Manager who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys taking ownership of a diverse portfolio.


 



  • Proven experience managing a property portfolio (commercial, retail, or mixed-use preferred)

  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting and reporting experience

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team

  • A commitment to delivering high-quality service and outcomes
