South Coast Radiology | Regional Manager South (Fixed term)

South Coast Radiology is seeking an experienced Regional Manager for a fixed term to back fill an internal secondment.  The Regional Manager South position leads the practices in the Southern Gold Coast and Mackay. This senior leadership role is ideal for a medical imaging professional who combines strong operational and commercial expertise with outstanding people leadership. This role is being offered to internal South Coast Radiology applicants only for a fixed term of 3 months whilst the incumbent is on a secondment in another business unit. 

Reporting to the South Coast Radiology General Manager, you will oversee staffing, equipment, compliance, quality and performance while driving service excellence and supporting regional growth.

About the Role:

You will provide strategic and operational leadership across multiple sites, ensuring imaging services are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest clinical and professional standards. You will work closely with site supervisors, senior leadership, and corporate support teams to drive performance, quality, compliance, and growth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Provide operational and people leadership across multiple imaging sites in the Gold Coast region
• Lead, mentor and support to the site leadership structures in place across the region to deliver high-quality, patient-focused services
• Ensure appropriate staffing levels through effective workforce planning, rostering, recruitment and leave management
• Oversee equipment lifecycle management, including capital planning, maintenance, licensing and vendor relationships
• Ensure all accreditation, radiation safety, Medicare and licensing requirements are maintained
• Drive quality, risk and safety initiatives in line with company policy and legislative requirements
• Contribute to operational budgets, financial performance and capital planning
• Support regional growth initiatives, including new site development, expansions and service optimisation
• Collaborate closely with Radiologists, Marketing and corporate support teams to promote services and support referrers
• Participate in the clinical roster as required to support operational needs

About You:

• Degree qualified in Medical Imaging
• 10+ years’ experience in a radiology environment
• Proven leadership experience in a multi-site or senior operational role
• Strong knowledge of RIS/PACS systems and regulatory requirements
• Collaborative, organised and outcomes-focused leadership style
• Experience in managing staff
