Job Description - Registered Nurse - Acute Dialysis Unit



  • Location: Sunshine Hospital 

  • Employment Type: Ongoing, Part Time 

  • Salary: RN Grade 2 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging 


 


About the role:


Our Dialysis Units at Western Health are seeking highly motivated Registered Nurses to join our team.  Our Dialysis Units provides a large range of services including dialysis, consisting of inpatient and outpatient services. Our Dialysis Units at Western Health operates at a variety of sites, including satellite services at Sunshine, Williamstown and Sunbury. 


 


Key responsibilities: 


As a Dialysis Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while striving for excellence in clinical practice, teaching, and research.  


 


You will work closely with the ANUM to maintain a safe and positive environment for both staff and patients and participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.  


 


About you: 



  • Successful completion of Bachelor of Nursing  

  • Registration with AHPRA  

  • Minimum of 2 years’ FTE experience within Acute Dialysis Unit 

  • Previous experience in Haemodialysis Nursing 

  • Demonstrate the ability to practice collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team  

  • A commitment to high quality and ongoing to maintain a culture of patient centred care.  

  • Excellent and effective interpersonal and communication skills  

  • Possess excellent clinical skills
