About the role
Ward 5.1
Ward 5.1 is a 16-bed acute medical unit with additional Flex capacity open during the morning shifts. The proposed model of care is an Accelerated Acute Medical Unit (AAMU) model for short stay General Medicine patients with an expected Length of Stay (LOS) of 48 to 72 hours.
Ward 6.1
Ward 6.1 is a 32 bed department specialising in Acute General Medicine. You will have the opportunity to become a part of a multidisciplinary team that takes pride in providing high quality care.
Ward 6.2
Ward 6.1 is a fast paced general medicine ward with a component of Eating Disorder Patients in its model of care. We are a supportive team with a large multidisciplinary approach to care and a strong commitment to customer service. Applicants should be flexible, dependable, organised and caring with the ability to work well in a team environment.
About you
As a Registered Nurse, your skills and experience will include;
Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice). Seasonal vaccination against influenza is a mandatory requirement of this role, and an offer is conditional on this being up to date prior to employment.
