About the Role


The job offers a broad experience in Urological cases and teaching including



  • Case Presentations

  • Journal Club

  • Morbidity and Mortality Meetings

  • Grand Rounds

  • e-Learning

  • Exposure to Urological theatre cases, including a fortnightly list at Horsham Hospital as primary operator under direct consultant supervision.

  • First On Call with 1 in 3 roster

  • 86 hour fortnight with rostered afternoon off each week


 


All units offer orientation and regular training activities including:



  • Case Presentations

  • Journal Club

  • Morbidity and Mortality Meetings

  • Grand Rounds

  • e-Learning


 


Skills and Experience:



  • MBBS or equivalent

  • Current registration to practice with the Australian Medical Board

  • Clinical experience consistent with stage of career.

  • Experience in self-management and organisation of work to achieve agreed outcomes

  • Would suit person with definite interest in regional medicine.
