Job Description - Retirement Village Manager

Bolton Clarke Group one of Australia’s largest independent, not-for-profit providers of home care, retirement living and residential aged care, operating nationally and internationally.  Bolton Clarke Residential group now has 88 Aged Care Homes across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA & WA, with the inclusion of the Allity, McKenzie & Acacia Living Group.

About the Role

This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Chelsea Retirement Village, ensuring a safe, high-quality, and resident-focused environment. The role focuses on operational leadership, aiming to deliver excellent resident experiences.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity, working Monday to Friday.

As Retirement Village Manager, you will:

  • Manage engagement of residents and committee to optimise resident empowerment and satisfaction
  • Enhance resident satisfaction and experience by delivering social activities and events
  • Ensure compliance with the Retirement Villages Act, Code of Conduct and Accreditation standards
  • Manage village budget, resource planning, financial reporting and strategy
  • Working collaboratively with the Residents’ Committee regarding the operation and maintenance of the village

About You

  • Genuine passion for engaging the retirement living community
  • Proven management experience in a similar role within retirement living, business, hospitality, finance, property management, or health sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with legislation. A sound understanding of the Retirement Village Act would be highly regarded
  • Proven customer-centric philosophy combined with an ability to “get things done”
  • Strong written and verbal communication including demonstrated problem-solving skills
  • Budgeting and reporting experience to support financial and operational goals
