Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all revenue, property, and rates functions with statutory compliance.
• Oversee ledger balancing, reconciliations, and reporting activities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to your team, ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Coordinate rates modelling, valuations, concessions, and exemption processing.
• Develop and improve debtor management processes for the collection and administration of rates and sundry debts.
• Maintain accurate records including property data and the electoral roll.
• Support audits, ensure legislative compliance, and implement process improvements.
• Oversee team recruitment, development, and performance management.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated leadership or substantial experience in rates and property revenue with mentoring/coaching responsibilities.
• Strong customer service ethos and history of process improvement.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and influencing skills.
• Track record establishing and optimising systems, policies, and procedures.
• Proficiency in debtor information and rates management systems.
