Civmec are currently seeking experienced Riggers to drive the successful delivery of a major Refinery Shutdown in Gladstone. This is a great opportunity to be apart of a reliable and talented crew delivering critical shutdown and maintenance work in the local Gladstone region. Bring your expertise and join our team that's committed to innovation, safety and setting high expectations for our client. 

The Role

• Various Maintenance Shutdowns and Project works


• Perform complex rigging and mathematical assessment


• Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces


• Dismantle and store rigging equipment correctly


• Ability to effectively conduct risk assessments prior to commencing tasks


• Comply with industry safety standards


• Perform other general duties where required

About You

To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

• HRWL: RI or RA


• Yellow/Blue Medipass (desirable)


• Construction White Card


• Work Safely at Heights (within 2 years of issue)


• Enter and Work in Confined Space (within 2 years of issue)


• Gas Test Atmospheres (desirable)


• Ability to pass a pre-employment Medical and regular / random Drug and Alcohol screens


• Additional Tickets will be highly regarded
