The Government Notices Unit (GNU) is a critical part of Westpac’s Financial Crime Surveillance function, sitting within the Risk Division.
The team is responsible for managing and responding to legal notices and information requests from law enforcement, regulators, and government agencies. Our work plays a vital role in combatting financial crime, supporting law enforcement investigations, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
What’s the role?
As a Risk Analyst in the GNU, you will be responsible for handling and assessing information requests from external agencies such as Australian Police Forces, AUSTRAC, ASIC, the ATO and Third-Party Agencies.

This is a role designed for curious minds with a keen interest in financial crime.
