Room Leader - ECT/Diploma

We are searching for a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma qualified educator to Co-Room Lead in the preschool room.  You will be working alongside an experienced ECT preschool educator.  

In our preschool room we have up to 20 children per day, we have two experienced educators (of which you will be one) working alongside each other enabling each leader to run their own smaller group times. We also have a trainee/certificate III educator working in the room.

Job Requirements: 

Room Leader position - Full-time (ECT or Diploma)

• Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma Qualifications recognised by ACECQA (if you completed your studies overseas you will need to have had ACECQA assess your qualification & received confirmation that it is recognised in Australia) - we will consider a recent ECT graduate. 
• Current NSW Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid, CPR & Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificate. 
• Early childhood experience & sound understanding of the EYLF & NQS
• Current child protection course (or willingness to complete if you haven't already completed it as part of your studies)
• Permanent Resident or visa to work fulltime in Australia (Overseas applicants without valid visas to work in Australia will not be considered). Sponsorship not available.
