Job Description - Sales Coordinator

Bowens is an AFR Top 150 privately owned business and the largest independent supplier of building materials in Australia with a proud history dating back to 1894. We have 700+ employees and pride ourselves on being a leader in the supply of building products to the trade market, innovation and our employee development/training programs.

We have an opportunity in our Major Accounts Team and are keen to speak with motivated candidates. Based at our Hallam Head Office, you will work closely with Australia's Major Builders and will be an integral part of our team. This Entry level role requires you to engage at all levels across sophisticated building companies. If you have a passion to provide great customer service and be a team player, then we want to hear from you.

Duties Include:

  • Answering customer queries via phone or email

  • Processing Sales Orders and Quotations accurately

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • A team player

To be considered for this role:

  • An ability to deliver outstanding service and build great relationships

  • A self-motivated approach and strong follow through on customers' requests

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Exceptional time management skills

  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to produce high quality work with meticulous attention to detail

  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and work well with other people

  • Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritise work, to meet company and customer expectations
