Crop Smart is a prominent force in the supply of Ag Chem with a significant market presence across SA, Vic & lower NSW.  We are an Australian owned and operated distributor of high-quality agricultural chemicals and adjuvants, with our own formulation plant and a network of more than fifteen stores. We stock a wide range of high-quality farm-related products, including crop protection, fertiliser and seed.

About the role: 

To support our strong growth, we're looking for a Sales Representative to join our dynamic team, working in our Cummins store.  This autonomous role is initially a mix of sales and store duties, while we grow the store team.

You will primarily lead the efficient operation of the Crop Smart store as a receival, storage and dispatch centre, including coordination of on-farm deliveries, while ensuring compliance with all relevant government regulations.

In addition, use your exceptional interpersonal and time management skills to manage existing relationships with farmers and foster new ones, leading to sales. The role will commence ASAP and the salary will be commensurate with the job requirements and the candidate's experience.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

• Exceptional verbal communication and customer service skills


• Willingness to be involved in the local sales strategy talking to growers in person and on the phone


• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently


• Current Driver’s Licence


• Initiative to identify and implement improvements


• Attention to detail with good time management skills


• Expertise in systems (Microsoft Suite etc)


• Demonstrate a personal commitment to safety


• An innate understanding of rural communities


• Experience with Ag Chem products (advantageous)


• A current forklift license (would be an advantage)
