The Opportunity

We have two exciting opportunities to join Medibank's AI Hub as a Salesforce Developer, where you'll help design, build and evolve the platforms and capabilities that power some of our most important customer experiences.

Both opportunities offer the chance to work with modern technologies, engineering best practices and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, scalable and secure solutions.

These are both 12-month fixed-term opportunities; each aligned to a different Salesforce Platform:

Salesforce Developer - Audience:

This role focuses on audience engineering, customer data platforms and segmentation capabilities. You'll help shape how customer and audience data is managed, governed and activated across our digital ecosystem, enabling more personalised and meaningful customer experiences. You'll work closely with teams across marketing, data, AI governance and technology to build scalable audience frameworks and activation solutions

Salesforce Developer – Experience Platforms:

This role focuses on marketing technology platforms and engineering solutions that support customer engagement and business initiatives. You'll work across product, design, marketing and technology teams to build, integrate and optimise modern marketing technology capabilities, delivering high-quality software solutions that enable business growth and innovation.

Across both roles, you'll:

• Design, develop, test and deploy high-quality software solutions across the full development lifecycle.


• Collaborate with product, design, marketing, data and technology stakeholders to deliver business outcomes.


• Contribute to solution design, systems integration and platform engineering initiatives.


• Champion modern engineering practices including DevSecOps, continuous integration and continuous delivery.


• Support production systems through monitoring, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.


• Drive innovation, knowledge sharing and engineering excellence across the team.

What makes the roles different?

Audience:

Build and maintain audience frameworks, segmentation capabilities and customer data solutions.

• Work with CDPs, identity resolution, audience syndication and activation platforms.


• Partner closely with Data Governance, Privacy and AI Governance teams.


• Focus on audience quality, customer data architecture and governance frameworks.

Experience Platforms:

• Build and enhance marketing technology capabilities and integrations.


• Deliver software solutions supporting customer engagement and marketing platforms.


• Focus on application development, platform integrations, APIs and engineering delivery.


• Drive the implementation of modern engineering methodologies and platform improvements.

Must haves

We're looking for experienced developers who bring:

• Strong experience building and supporting enterprise applications and integrations.


• Hands-on experience with AWS, APIs, JSON and modern software engineering practices.


• Experience with Java, microservices and cloud-based architectures.


• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and DevSecOps practices.


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.


• Experience working across cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.

Highly regarded experience for the Audience position:

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Data360 and customer data platforms (CDPs).


• Audience segmentation, identity resolution and audience activation.


• SQL, data modelling and customer data architecture.


• Adobe Target, personalisation platforms and audience governance frameworks.

Highly regarded experience for the Experience Platforms position:

• Salesforce Marketing Cloud and marketing technology ecosystems.


• RESTful APIs, integration patterns and microservices.


• CI/CD tooling, build pipelines and modern software development practices.


• Experience delivering customer-facing technology solutions in enterprise environments.
