What you'll do:
- Monitor and manage the SAP B1 production environment (server, database, integrations) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the SAP B1 system and its integrations, identifying root causes applying reliable long term fixes.
- Maintain and optimise SQL Server performance, including queries, stored procedures, views, indexes and replication
- Manage SAP B1 backups, restores, upgrades, patching and capacity planning to minimise downtime and protect data integrity
- Support SAP B1 integrations and APISs (Service Layer, DI API)
- Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Operations teams and external partners to prioritise issues and ensure smooth system operation.
- Provide second/third-line SAP B1 user support; prepare clear documentation of incidents, fixes, and repeatable processes.
- Configure and maintain customisations and add-ons (e.g., Boyum B1UP and other partner solutions) to meet business requirements.
- Monitor system health in a Windows/SQL Server environment, proactively addressing security, stability, and performance alerts.
- Assist with data quality checks, reconciliations, and finance-critical accuracy requirements (e.g., postings, journals, inventory updates).
- Contribute to ongoing automation and continuous improvement initiatives in support tooling and processes.

What you'll need:
- Strong SAP B1 knowledge across Financials, Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Production, and system administration.
- Expert in SQL Server: queries, stored procedures, views, database performance, and integrity.
- Experience with C# (or similar) for scripts, enhancements, and Add-ons; familiar with SAP DI API / Service Layer.
- Hands-on experience supporting live SAP B1 environments (SQL preferred) and managing Windows Server administration (patches, backups, monitoring, security).
- Excellent troubleshooting in production environments, including logs, integrations, and distributed systems.
- Strong analytical mindset: identifies patterns, automates processes, and implements root-cause fixes.
- Exceptional time management, prioritisation, and ability to handle multiple support streams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with business users, developers, and external consultants.
