We're seeking an experienced Senior SAP Payroll (ECP) Consultant on a 12 month fixed term contract to lead the design, configuration, support, and enhancement of SAP Payroll solutions. Acting as a trusted advisor to Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders, you'll ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll outcomes while supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic payroll transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert production support for SAP Payroll (ECP), resolving complex payroll issues and ensuring payroll accuracy and compliance.
Configure and maintain payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, finance postings, and integrations.
Lead payroll solution design, requirements gathering, and delivery for system enhancements and transformation projects.
Support payroll testing activities, including SIT, UAT, regression, and parallel payroll runs.
Manage legislative updates, including STP, Payday Super, taxation, and superannuation changes.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver best-practice payroll solutions.
About You
Extensive experience in SAP Payroll, ideally Employee Central Payroll (ECP).
Strong expertise in payroll schemas, PCRs, wage types, IDOCs, G/L posting, STP, terminations, and payroll reporting.
Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
Proven experience in payroll production support, project delivery, and payroll integrations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
