Security Officer- Collie

We are seeking a motivated and professional Security Officer to join our team on an exciting new contract based in Collie

This role is primarily responsible for maintaining a strong security presence while remaining alert, proactive, and focused at all times.

You will become part of an enthusiastic, committed, and customer-focused team, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and the public.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist tenants and members of the public in a professional manner
• Maintain vigilance and monitor activities to support asset protection
• Conduct regular foot patrols across the premises, including:
  • Internal building patrols (including high-level areas)
  • External perimeter patrols
• Monitor CCTV systems and radio communication networks
• Respond professionally, courteously, and promptly to all enquiries
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and building management
• Complete accurate and timely incident reports
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security procedures

Skills and Experience

• Certificate II in Security Operations and a valid WA Security Licence
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Experience in corporate or commercial building security
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain alert and respond effectively under pressure
• Full WA Driver’s Licence

Desirable (Advantageous) Qualifications

• Drug & Alcohol (D&A) Testing qualification
• Certificate II in Medical Response
• Advanced First Aid certification
